My time has been limited, so I just went ahead and posted it, guys. If that was a bad thing to do just let me know and I'll pull it.

A three part collaboration between Ken, Dave, Gene and myself. Aside from the vocal wind plosives in the first part that I couldn't fix I thought it came out great - You guys rock!

Dave, if I didn't get your lyrics down right it's ok to get one of the boys to edit the post.

Excellent job, fellas!

Peace,

Mark

Lyrics - Part I

Why do you take all of my energy
And burn the fire down 'till there's nothing left of me
Now the bottle's almost empty
It's time for you to move on

You took the diamonds from my eyes
And stole away with them
For all eternity

Lyrics - Part II

Why did you take all of my energy
Now there's nothing left for eternity

(Took all my diamonds, baby)

Why did you take all of my energy
Now there's nothing left for eternity

(Took all the diamonds from my eyes)

Why did you take all of my energy
When the fire burned so bright
Now our life's just a memory
And I've got nothing left for eternity

Lyrics - Part III

Suck the energy right out of tomorrow
After all it's you that I follow
Take me to the brink
Then pour another drink
Don't think I can make it 'till tomorrow

You better watch out before it's too late
This demon leads you right up to the gate.
She's a devil in disguise
You don't believe it just look in her eyes
Devil in disguise

Some really cool parts and hard work went into this. Though a little "prog/metal" for my taste this is an epic rocker with killer vocals, especially those bg's Mark.

HEAVVVEEEEE and I love it, that "why did you take all my energy" is  a complete killer hook. Loving all the light and shade here, this is a helluva a piece of work, I really like the drums in Dave's part, well done sir! The guitars across all of this are superb, love the acoustic and different lead styles.

I'm on a theme tonight - Speed Demon, that bass needs to be much higher in the mix for me! But apart from that, a huge slab of wonderfulness.

Cheers,

Nigel
