Buying a guitar from the USA or Canada

It says that Musician's Friend ships internationally. They only mention Canada and Australia. But surely if they can ship to Australia then they can ship just about anywhere. Why not ask them about shipping to the UK? There are some manufacturer's restrictions on new items, but no restrictions on their used gear.

Or, as T.C. suggested, get them to ship it to Tony and have him ship it to you. Musician's Friend ships anywhere in the U.S., and I believe ground shipping is free, though it might depend on the item.

It's a good case except that the lid never stays up, so you need three hands to get the guitar in and out safely. But it offers a lot more protection than the gig bag that comes with the guitar. And Long & McQuade allowed me a credit for the gig bag since I was buying the hardshell case and didn't need it. I'm not sure if Musician's Friend will do that but it's worth asking about. Not sure which gig bag they include, but the Godin bags they sell separately are about $60.
