i used the smoothld patch yet again.i just can't seem to get the tones to sound as good as my Spider.
and if the sun should fail to rise against my
shoulders one last time...

I don't know what you are comparing against tone-wise, but to me this sounds very, very good.  Smooth, clear, full.  I can hear every note you play (very nice playing by the way), the sustain is fabulous.  I like it.  Thank you for posting this.

Alternate Tunings: CAUTION: your fingers have to be in different places

I see your point, this was the Spider amp.  OK.  So you can't get it as good through the MicroBR effects?  I thought this was the smoothld in the MicorBR direct.

i did use the mbr patch for this.if you can check out the "clifs of dover" patch on the spider III its awesome for sustained notes.

i usually play to backing tracks that i have found on the net.
but in this case i am playing everything.

Tony,

I much prefer your own work to the stuff that you play over the backing tracks, the backing track stuff shows your skills as a player, but the stuff you do yourself shows your skills as a musician.
