I just thought of another one I really liked a lot.

I.Q. (1994) - Meg Ryan, Walter Matthau, Tim Robbins

Walter Matthau plays Albert Einstein, Meg Ryan plays his niece, and Tim Robbins plays a mechanic who falls in love with her (who wouldn't?). Einstein doesn't like his niece's fiancé so he and his scientist friends cook up a scheme to help the mechanic win her over. It's funny and a really enjoyable movie. If you've never seen it, check it out.

For me it would be:

This is Spinal Tap
Pulp Fiction
The Sixth Sense
Lif of Brian
Blade Runner (Director's Cut)

Blade Runner only just made it because as brilliant as the film is, the book is far, far better. I am a massive fan of PK Dick and in particular "Do Androids Dream Of Electric Sheep", so when I first saw Blade Runner I thought it was very lightweight, despite the fantastic production. But I have grown to love it, although I could have defnitely made a better version and stayed truer to the book. Well, perhaps not......

Cheers,

Nigel

North By Northwest
Miller's Crossing
The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly
Inglourious Basterds
Hard Boiled

Tomorrow, I'm sure Kubrick will find his way back in there...  ;)
