Crytoscopophilia

No better way of describing the affliction of urban(e) males strolling home from the gentlemanly relaxation of an evening.

So that's your significant other's underwear and now a new 'interest' that we share with Geir and Higgins.

Hmm, I found a gold tooth this morning too......

I was walking along a residential street yesterday at dusk, and I started thinking about this song. Then it made me curious about what was happening in the lighted windows, because I'd never normally look. So in a very bizarre way, this song has encouraged crytoscopophilic behaviour... lol

You are a bad man, henny.... I might have seen something I shouldn't!

Just in case, here be a very slightly tarted up version. Still can't afford a new set of bass strings.

Love the addition of whacked-out beats... makes the wild ride even wilder. Bloody brilliant!

What's your bass? Round or flat?

I've always used rounds but I'm thinking of trying flats next time. Work will be picking up in the next couple of weeks, 'cos I'm gonna be doing more shifts and the 'visitors' will begin to arrive! Bless 'em...

Half rounds are a good compromise between rounds and flats. Might be worth a try. I've got a set on my bass now and I like them.

Wikipedia has a good write-up on the differences between string types.

Great string info there 64G, thanks for posting the links!

I'm not much of a bass player myself, and I've never changed the strings that were on my bass since I bought it; they are definitely roundwound, thouhg.

I like that my bass sounds (very) bright, but I may try some flatwounds someday just to see if I can get a bit more thump into it and still retain some of the brightness due to the design and electronics of the instrument.
