No 1 songs on the day you were born

Ok, I'm totally late to the discussion, but I checked my #1 songs on the day I was born, and WOW!  I think this explains why I was drawn to the guitar (and the Stratocaster in particular) at an early age:

US - "It's Now or Never"  Elvis Presley
UK - "Apache"  The Shadows
AUS - "Walk Don't Run"  The Ventures

Now I don't feel so bad that I just bought a new neck for my old Strat.

I think it was "Rock Around the Clock" by Bill Hayley & The Comets.  In fact, I may be wrong but I think that was the very first week Billboard started charting R&R.
