Not a year without a song!
I think this one I wrote fifteen years ago and a few months ago I found it again. I arranged it a bit, but kept it acoustic in this version.
Two acoustic guitars, four voices in the chorus, a bit humming in the end and whole song has been mastered on Live Mix.
Today I use more different chords in my songs and a couple of them are waiting for recording.
The language is finnish...
Great acoustic work !! Lovely harmonies on a really good melody!
cheers Kari !
Great production! Well Done!
Nice, gentle song. Good acoustic work and the guitars are very well recorded. I thought the lead vocal could be a little higher in places, but because it's in Finnish it might be hard for me to make out.
Cheers,
Nigel
I agree with the boys, great song, playing and singing!
I can't understand a word you said... :D
See you around,
Mark

Thanks guys! It is difficult to translate from word to word beacause of rhymes. But it is a song about spring time here in the north. It is a song about pain, hope and joy. Some kind of 'painting' what happens in the nature and in people's mind.
I'm waiting for BR-1200, so all instruments can be played on their own tracks. Now I played and sang on one track, so there is a bit problems with balance.
You know even on the mbr you can have 18 tracks (with a "little" planning") without deleting a single take ....
this is very nice-can you post the lyrics?
One track!?!
This is even Cooler Now!
Great concept behind the tune as well Bro!!!!!!
I think you did an awesome job!??? One track??? I love to hear all of your languages. It's always romantic to me.!! Loved it, But yes post the words so we have some idea. LOL

I mean on 1st track I sang and played guitar. On 2nd track there is guitar and chorus vocals and on 3rd vocals too, if remember it right. I deleted the original version and now it is only mp3 version.
I have a version of this song, which is technically better, but there is one error in the end.
And Geir: You propably don't mean virtual tracks??? I have tested those virtual tracks, but haven't use them much...
Lyrics ( I wrote letter รค as a, a with two dots above )
Kevat tanssii balettiaan
valkean harson sulamaan saa
muistaa sateenkaarta kumartaa
tarttuu kateen toipilaan
Salaman suustaan yskaisee
aurinkoon katsoo eika muuta tee
ottaa varoen askeliaan
pesee hiukset aiti maan
Chorus:
Mutta kuka lauloi tuskan laulun
itki ensin sitten paasti naurun
joskus aika taakin ahdistaa
kun kevat tanssii balettiaan
Tuuli siivosi nurkkiaan
arasti heitti pois talviturkkiaan
oksiin maalasi varia vihreaa
nayttamatta ei voinut olla ylpeyttaan
vihrea viima ja oksilla odotus
tama taitos ja sen julma kosketus
syntymastaan kasvoi nuoruuden sineen
itsensa huomasi talvehtineen
Chorus:
Mutta kuka lauloi etc....
