This one has done the rounds quite a bit, it's had a few changes and multiple vocals, different effects, strange guitar tracks which have either been ditched or removed by the aliens.
This isn't finished, I have still to put some more percussion on but I'm struggling to find the time. It's only at 128Kb/s at the moment.
This is Hazy, a trippy sort of Mothership arriving song.
James is on vocals and maybe some guitar but I'm not sure.
Tim is on backing vox and effects and is doing most if not all of the guitar work.
I got the easy job as usual and plinked a bit of dum...dum...dum... bass onto it at the end and then mixed it all back up.
I like my job. :)
We hope you like it.
So, has Jim been hanging out on Bosko's MySpace page? :D
I like the chorus especially. The bass tone sounds very good.
How the hell do you guys do this??? Yet another bloody good one!!
Can I ask a question? ( that's looks stupid putting it like that, 'cos I am, just by saying that ???). Where did the name Jemima's Kite come from?
James, Mike, Tim, ------- JamEs MIke tim ..... It's an anagram, almost, we had to lose an 'M' because there was one to many. So I'm now called Ike.
Changed my name by Deed Poll. At least I'm not called 'Halfwit' or 'Dogface'.
I think that Tharek prefers my Sunday name 'Old C***y B*ll*cks', but that won't fit into an anagram either.
Tim, Jim and Ike. No.... that's wrong, Ike, Tim and Jim..... nah that doesn't work either......
Half a glass of Cab Sauv' and I'm gone.....
Oi !!!!!!
C***y B*ll*cks!!!!!!!!!
This has turned out to be my favourite JK track!
I Think it is just Stunning!!!!!!!!
This is something I would turn up if it came on the radio whilst driving.
I really love this one!
I think this is the one that will take you places Lads...
Where is the soundclick ref?
Peace Guys

The E.M.O and the boy like this one!!!!
He was doing a little dance to it when he heard it!
this song is crying out for a Guitar Solo
that is the only thing that is missing
oops the bass needs popping up in the mix a bit..can't hear it.
2 things missing (imho)
T
I dont know T.....
It sits nice at the moment....
Too much going on(Little sound effects....Harmonies.......and a lot of guitar) for a solo...... I think its refined to a high degree... If there was one it would have to be Quite distant in the mix...
I just ran this through the MBR to see what it would sound like with more bass..
Raising the Bass would detract from the Vocal and effects a bit....
A Dirty/Live version would be interesting though.....
Thats when the Bass could really let loose with less in the mix!
Peace Bro
T(Osckilo)
really nice song guys ,great melody ,fantastic vox as unusual ,well done
Facemask93l
This is stunning boys. I get a U2 vibe myself, especially the vocals and that guitar line. I also would like the bass up a bit more myself, There is a monster bass line going on here but it is hard to hear it properly with all that trebly guitar on top of it. Great stuff.

My son loves this one... I think there's a mighty powerful hook on that lovely orh chorus. I've been singing it in my head too, lol.
Nice wall of sound there, Flash must have had the Phil Spector wig on......
Great build up and big guitar sounds. It just all works for me.

He's here, I've seen him today! He really really exists.
(Just so you know, I'm stopping in a hotel in the centre of Glasgow for a couple of days)
But he really really does exist! Honest! And his mate.....
And for those who are left un-moved by this revelation, you must check out Rab C. Nesbit. He's a philosopher, a social commentator and an endearing drunk.
I can understand why ORH is waiting for the mothership. Two days, oh god....
Great song, and especially like that chorus. There is a lot of fantastic playing going on in this song!!!

Great job guys!!! And don't ask me why, but the way it starts out reminded me a little of ghost riders in the sky, If you've ever heard that. LOL But very good indeed

I love bumps, and this one is spectacular. First listen, but always a fan Of Jemima's Kite.
got an email from the production team at tom robinson's introducing show on bbc radio6music that they might play this fingers crossed, they are also considering playing where do we go from here
I can't believe I never commented on this song. I love it!! I love the build up and intensity. You guys are good, very good!
GREAT Kite song!!!! From the first chords it grabs you and holds you, and then spins your head around with a BIG smile the whole way through!!! I LOVE the center new feed section, fits SO well. Amazing song guys.
I had forgotten how good this was, probably my favourite JK song!
bump
This is one of my favorite of the Kite's!
Still love the hell out of it!
Cool bump, by the way....
LG
This was a great bump...awesome. ORH, your vocals are always so on all the time!
This is excellent. Very full, great vocals and performance.
Good fantasy... or is it? :o
i liking this one ALOT !!! downloadin this puppy into my Mp3 player ASAP! good work guys!
I really like this tune a lot...the only comment I'd offer is to revisit the mix a bit - you've got some nice backing vocals there, but they tend to get lost in all the elements going on at that point.
Maybe some EQ touchup to give each element more of it's own "space"?
I'd raise the bass too, but then, I'm a bass player..... ;)
Nice track though...I absolutely loved the "newsflash" insert - that was great!
this popped up on my piepod on random play so i thought i should bump it
Great song!! Thanks for Bumping this!!
Enjoying this one !!! Love everything about this!!!
SWWWEEEEEEEEEEEETTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!
JIM
loving this song - the powerful chord changes give it an epic feel - surely there is room for a towering outro solo on that track!
on this day bump
Incredible. Two yeasrs ago. I was in Glasgow and met James Higgins for the first time while I was there.
what was that about not being able to un-ring a bell?
ORH has covered himself in a Uke carnage fest. This is the original which I have just listened to again and although it's a bit of self trumpeting, I think this is one of our best.
Here's a link to James' fab uke version https://songcrafters.org/community/index.php?topic=17589.0 (https://songcrafters.org/forum/index.php?topic=17589.0)
