Kenny, such a lovely laid-back feel to this. Great instrumentation and rich vox sitting well together. I'm sure Mrs Mac will be a little teary when she hears it. Happy birthday to her by the way. Well done.  8)

With such a good intent behind the song, it resulted into this being one of your best songs.

After "I Am I Am (https://songcrafters.org/forum/index.php?topic=34766.0)" I wasn't sure if I could ever trust a love song again. Is your wife going to swoop in and say, "Yawn! What are you still doing here?"

Whew! No swooping.

Thanks for the chaser. It's a lovely song. She must have loved it!

What a lovely sentiment. I'm not sure why, but it reminded me of U2.

I think it adds something, knowing that you wrote it for your wife. The lyrics carry more weight.

Super nice post. Great singing as per your usual.

This is a nice clean recording, very well produced. That synth/sax solo is a pretty good idea, its quite distinctive, reminds me a bit of Steve Winwood and his Moog solos.

Loving the bass drum first off, then the guitar riff and vocal are terrific.
Great tribute to the better half,

Beautiful right from the get-go. Gentle yet uplifting, and that main riff is so hooky. Lovely harmonies too. Is that sax-synth bit in the break a synth pedal? Gorgeous stuff.

likedd this right from the start, cool rhythm sound, has such a nice quality to the song, kind of light breezy sweet yet sad in a way, really nice music on that mid section . very very nice song and melody lines and the harmonica ending is very cool
