Head to Tail
Driving along in my car
I know I'd never have got this far without you
Without you...without you
Destination, out there somewhere
Check in desk in the middle of nowhere
Bumper to bumper...bumper to bumper
HEAD TO TAIL...LIKE A SNAIL
WE ALL GO ROUND, AROUND AND ROUND
...ONCE AGAIN
So far...so good
Life was slow but never boring
Cometh the slow lane without a warning
One morning...one morning
And I've been driving like a loony
Better to get there later than never
Bumper to bumper...bumper to bumper

Lovely lads, this was a lovely chill, almost "Americana maybe"? Lovely harmony vocals make this tune. Most satisfying late night listen. Cheers guys.

Three minutes and thirty-eight seconds of class, Darren. Everything spot on; production, Keith's Beatle-esque vocal and great instrumentation. I rarely listen to the radio anymore but if this kinda stuff was playing on it I'd be listening more.
Great 70s feel. Takes me back to a better musical time.

Very nice piece. I hear lots of influences in it and it's all triggering the best past vibes! Love it. 8)
This song is so smooth and well produced my hats to all, the vocal is mixed to perfection

Wonderful 70s pop! That sound is so thick and juicy.
I feel like floating away in a leaking waterbed...
Love it great vocals as Ray said pure class
The only folks on here that can get close to this sort of sound is maybe young Berry.
The singer on this is really special. Reminds me so much of 70's pop stars playing on the radio I so often listened too... super good..
the music matches... man I feel lucky to hear all this great music on SC's... it is like having a secret radio station... i gotta be an alien...
so lucky...to hear you Darren and your friends... I stand and applaud.
That was a great listen! There are several styles entwined in this song like Fab rock, Americana, Country Rock, Pop rock, Classic rock and more. The vocal harmonies are lovely and the mix/production brings it all into view. Nice work guys!
So nice....those vocals are like melted butter. Feels wonderful.
I simply cannot believe how great this is. Maybe one of the best I have ever heard on SC. Seriously. This is next level - this is - it should be a best selling hit. It should fill clubs. I would pay $$$$ to see this band. The vocals - absolutely amazing. Current singers whose songs get played on the radio should be embarrassed that they suck 1000x compared with this. The accompaniment - pure class and talent and taste. I get a back-in-time transport vibe, back to a better era of music. Downloaded - permanently in my library on my phone.
This is a case study in what a chorus should do: Surprise the listener. "Like a snail" lifts unexpectedly, like a barber pumping the hydraulic pedal of the barber's chair with no warning. I couldn't wait to hear it again. And then it surprises again in the outro by not doing the same lift. Excellent song craft.
my uncle tells me he loves your stuff and i can see why. this seems to have a touch of beatles about it and what a fab song.
Those gang vocals reminded me of Beatle harmonies. Wow.
Such a well-crafted tune. Fine performances, arrangement, and production, and those glorious harmony vocals. Again, wow.
Cool delayed guitar bit in there.

Like others have said, a good mix of influences here, Beatles amongst them.
Great production and really good song.
Real nice production on this, very catchy and i liked the feel of it, laid back and inventive, music vocals everything is great, very nice indeed
Very marvellous. That chorus... wow. Love how it really opens up and soars at 1:30. What an exceptional piece of work. So accomplished!
