oooo... this is lovely Tim.

really digging the beat and the lead against the stand up... but as always what I really love about your music is your voice.
super

nice tune... got real power in it... backing vocals I really am getting into as well... I think backing vocals are my favorite thing now, next to drumming, guitars, bass and keyboards...lol.. I dig it all

hehe... that reminds me of the Simpsons episode where Lisa's boyfriend only plays a bit of drums, guitar, bass, piano and sax

Lovely track Tim, I have this down as a late night listen, where you like to think about the twists and turns life takes. Heavy tune and a great listen. Loved the hypnotic bass.

I agree, this is a powerful song Tim. Cool vocals and that vst stand up bass fills the bottom end easily. An excellent, thought provoking song!

That beginning lead almost mirrors the rain I imagine falling outside lovely laid back track loving that stand up bass.....it's raining here too but it's time to put my coat on and go and feed the bottle fed lambs....will that sun ever shine again?

Catching up on listening and discovered this gem.  I like how soulful the guitar playing and vocals are. Nice keys and arrangement too.  Need more rainy days in the studio!

Nice brooding feel. The bass sounds great, but... as a bass player it's hard to say this... I almost feel it would be better with fewer notes: More long whole notes; less of a shuffle. Follow the piano. Turn the broody knob up to 11.

I like slow breakdown at the end.

Lyrically, this touches a theme I discuss with my 11-year-old daughter vis-a-vis the songs she chooses. Just this morning I was discussing with her four songs she asked me to steal from YouTube (convert to MP3). One of them was "Love is BS (https://youtu.be/byCz4F0rrUg)" by Lala Sadii. I said, "Yes!" I waived the rule of "no bad language" because the song is such an effective counterweight to the ultra-romantic Cinderella songs she asked for. I looked her in the eyes and said, "Listen to me. Love is hard. Love is work. These other songs are about infatuation and lust – not about love. Infatuation will fade away, and then the work begins."

I especially like the "maybe" in the song. Because maybe waiting was right. You never know. This song is the flip-side to falling in love too fast, when maybe waiting would have been better. Your song leaves it at a maybe. Life isn't going to tell you.
