this is so good.... the garage band drums are solid... and then they do this delayed thing.

Those drums sound great – and also like a happy accident. Or did you dial-up "Swing" on purpose? The lyrics are what the drummer is trying to say to the bass player.

The drummer is trying to swing against the straight rhythm of the bass.

Are you unaware
Of my communication?

The bass player ignores the request. Near the end of the song, the drummer becomes more insistent.

If you listen if you listen you might hear
Do you get it?

Bass player continues to ignore. Finally the drummer says, Fuck it! I'm going to swing! Too bad. The song is over.

Drums are good on this, guitar gives out blue nicely vibes.

Clever lyrics. I always say if I have to explain it it's no longer funny! Nice easy going song. I enjoyed it.

Maybe a simple story, but you make it sound lush.

Some Hooky (New Order-era)-style bass there - I always love that.
