2024 and I am on a roll! I have finished the last track for my new album - coming out later this year. This is it and I bet you can guess the inspiration. The 'person' singing the tale is Death FYI. Got my Jagger hat on and my Keef jacket on! Hope you enjoy.
I've Danced with the Devil
I was at the Colosseum, watched the Christians cry
The job of Gladiators is to do or die
I watched Nero fiddle while Rome burned
People don't change, they never learn
Come on honey, dance with me
I've danced with the Devil through history
Come on sugar, dance with me
I've danced with the Devil through history
I saw the inquesition interrogate
Justice doesn't come or it comes too late
They say that the Devil has all the best tunes
And I wanna dance, so gimme some room
Come on honey, dance with me
I've danced with the Devil through history
Come on sugar, dance with me
I've danced with the Devil through history
I was there the day that Nelson died
I was there when Jesus was crucified
I saw the bombs falling on London town
I laughed as the buildings burned to the ground
I watched the black plague as it took it's toll
I may not look young, but I never grow old
Come on honey, dance with me
I've danced with the Devil through history
Come on sugar, dance with me
I've danced with the Devil through history

good old pure rock n roll
Nice rocker with some grindy leads. Nice bookend to "Sympathy for the Devil."

Very prolific Ron. i would love to see a video of you create a song from thought to creation you make it look so easy. this is a catchy track and love the historic lyrics and fun theme.
Ron brings the goods again... hits you right between the eyes. Love that chorus... loving the harmonies on it towards the end. Lovely dirty guitar too. Excellent Ron, congrats on completing that album too.
