Title: Let the Music Be Your Healer
Post by: Zoltan on December 31, 2023, 12:52:39 PM
A quick jam before the year ends.

Let the Music Be Your Healer

Let me tell you about the folks i know
They're jamming near the place with a firehole

CH:
Let the music be the healer
Melodies your dealer
Them gaspump girls
Shaking their jugs

Baby if we make it through the country road
Let the jukebox play (all night and day)

CH:
Let the music be the healer
Melodies your dealer
Them gaspump girls
Shaking their jugs

Bridge:
What do you need to get high?
What do yo need to get by?
There's a new year coming
There's a new year coming

(Then there's some extra stuff i tried to improvise to fill the space :)).

Edit: The guitar is jaguar (with p90s), the bass is yamaha BB414 with tape wounds. The sounds are Neural Amp. I didn't bother with things like tuning, or learning the thing before recordings. And yes i used some drastic EQ moves while "mixing" the thing.

Wow... this is deceptively good. Just a wee jam, but man you have knocked out a little beauty here. Those guitars a really super and play off each other so well. Some lovely little runs in there. And well hey... who am I to argue if a couple of lovely gas pump girls want to shake their jugs? I just would have liked a video to accompany this, but I have conjured up some nice images in my head :) Enough Mike!! Leave it I said!

Oh yeah. Love this. Nice and sleazy with a touch of Dire Straights. I agree with Mike - an accompanying video would've been great.
