I picked up my acoustic this morning and this one jumped out at me so I didn't argue I just pressed record.....
The wind howls and the rain beats against the door 
My heart bleeds out upon this floor

I need to hear my Angel sing once more 

I want to fill my heart with a song that I believe
I 'll sacrifice my wealth at the door

I love it when songs jump out and write themselves down. This has a little bit of a ragged edge that I think works very well with the lyric. The almost frenetic lead fits the mood of the lyric, too. And your vocal brings it all together very nicely. Going to the major at the end of the vocal phrase on the first two verses works so damn well.

Robert plant vibes there.
Great vocal and nice acoustic work.
Love the lead in particular.  :P

Great song Trev.

Nice guitar work, but it's the vocals that stands out here for me.

Powerful song and great lyrics too. From the heart, glad you got it down in that live take. Great stuff.
