Title: The Strangest Places By Oldrottenhead
Post by: Oldrottenhead on September 28, 2023, 02:16:30 PM
This one came to me really quickly but i think i spent too much time trying to record it.

It is what it is.

You try to tell the tale
But just can't find the words
Are they hiding in the verse
Hoping to be sung
Is there meaning in the sound
Will something strike a chord
Invite some memory
That you have long forgot

Plucked out of the thin air
Like it was always there
Was it here all along
Just waiting to be found
A song for us to sing
No need to write it down
It has always been around
Just waiting to be found

Within your reach a breath away
If only you could concentrate
Close your eyes so you can see
And listen oh so carefully
And suddenly it will appear
Try and catch it whilst it's there
Don't scare it away
Let it come to you

You'll find it here
You'll find it there
You'll find it in the strangest places

Ain't that the truth, just waiting  to be found.
How many melodies are there till the word's come.

I think you took just the right amount of time ... to find it ... it was worth it

A cool listen here. The lyrics are so true, sometimes the perfect words are hiding away "just waiting to be found". I like it!
