Title: Good Morning Sweetheart ( with Terry Wigmore)
Post by: DarrenG / The Devil's Toupee on August 28, 2023, 06:42:40 AM
A bit of a  short good morning sweetheart SC.mp3 'summery feel' song with a jazzy, hawaiian style. Terry came good with the lyrics and vocals, bringing his smooth style vocal delivery to good use and it helps it feel mellow but fun too.
Im not sure what terry's saying lol..but i think its hawiian for "good morning sweetheart i love you'.

GOOD MORNNG SWEETHEART

"Aloha Kakahia kakiuipo
Aloha Kakahia  kakiuipo
Good Morning , Sweetheart, I love you!
(repeat)

I want to take a stroll upon those sandy beaches
I want to walk knee-deep in those warm waters
I want to find a sea-shell, and whisper something in it

Good Morning , Sweetheart, I love you!

Aloha Kakahia  kakiuipo
Aloha Kakahia  kakiuipo
Good Morning , Sweetheart, I love you!

I want to take a stroll upon those sandy beaches
I want to walk knee-deep in those warm waters
I want to find a sea-shell, and whisper something in it

Good Morning , Sweetheart, I love you!

Aloha Kakahia  kakiuipo

Good Morning , Sweetheart, I love you!

This makes me think of all the good things. Hawaii, Kissing Cousins, Honoluly Baby (both Laurel & Hardy & Lavey!) and easier times!

A lot easier. Times when you didn't have to wake up because the sun woke you up. Times when you only needed to wear a grass skirt (and perhaps somekind of a sock extension if you were well built).

This of course never was Finland as we're more known to wrestle with polar bears. But man can always dream and that's what this song made me do.

Well done and it does really sound positively dated. It's warm and welcoming.

a really nice tune and really well played and sang... well done!  Versatility!

Always something different from you, Darren and that Hawaiian feel is very pleasing. Terry's vocal as always sounds great and the instrumentation is spot on. The whole track very professionally done.

Yes indeed... whistling is a great addition. This really does transport you back to a glorious, wonderful place and thank God for that. This sounds like a long lost bona fida classic. Beautifully thought out piece and executed to perfection.

Downloaded for future listens... thank you.

Thank you for creating this delightful composition... Love your presentation here...

I instantly smiled and was transmitted into a real good place -- thank you for that.

Love the harmony you have going there and that island vibe is so authentic sounding.

Great ending!!

Excellent song!
