Here is the cajon I recently built it has an oak face, corners are left with a space for a slap bongo effect. Inside the corner I used some ole guitar tuners and use e stings to create an adjustable snare. I also put an eight inch bass port in the back. For a little box it has large arrangement of sounds bass Tom snare bongo I will do a sound clip of it tomorrow. Just need to learn how to play it now lol

Very cool. I've always wanted a cajon, but have never thought seriously of making one.
Are we going to hear this soon?
Looking at these photos, I'm thinking of the noise my kid could make with one – with so much less space than a drum kit. You see, it would be for the kid, not for me.
I'm going to think on this.
