I have been postponing my new album, because I was waiting on magazine interview for my last album to be published. It would have been daft to put out a new album while still promoting the last album. Because of that I keep writing new stuff and thinking "This should go on the new album" lol. So, "This is going on the new album" which has grown from a 12 track album to a 15 track album!
I Don't Need
I don't need permission
To do the things I do
I don't need a document
To prove that I am true
I don't need your kisses
I don't need your smile
I really think that we should split
And cool it for a while
You say you are a lover
And that you understand
But I don't want your empathy
I am a self made Man
I don't need your water
I don't need your food
I just want some damn respect
Within this neighbourhood
I don't need....you
I don't need....you
I don't need....you
I don't need
I don't need a harbour
'cause I ain't got no ship
I don't think that we can mend this broke relationship
You say you are a lover
And that you understand
But I don't want your empathy
I am a self made Man
I don't need....you
I don't need....you
I don't need....you
I don't need
You say you are a lover
And that you understand
But I don't want your empathy
I am a self made Man
I don't need....you
I don't need....you
I don't need....you
I don't need
I don't need your sermons
To teach me how to live
I don't need no humble pie
There's nothing to forgive
I don't need your virtue
I don't have regrets
I don't need your opium to learn how to forget
why not add more? Anymore they can be as long as wanted... except if you put on vinyl...
This rocks to the moon and back Ron...
Gotta a touch of Zep feel to it... rocking sweetness..
really love the vocals too... and the lead smoking...
winner, winner!
I can hear this played in a club thats bouncing to the beat an excellent rocker
Rock-on Ron! Killer track! 8) Except for the opium reference, I can totally relate!
Awesome rocking track Ron. I'm glad this is going on the new album, like Stephen said..just add more what the hell lol.
The beat and the guitars have a 70's rock vibe which is great. Love the lyrics and the chorus is damn catchy. Great music all round mate
You do these rock tracks so well, Ron. Great arranging/playing and vocal work - love that cymbal crash at the end! Cool lyrics too.
Ooh, loved the entire chucka-chucka "I don't need" parts. Great lead break and tone as well.
A meaty offering. Nice.
Blooby
Excellent lead vocal and cool backing vocals. I like the strumming and muting style of the rhythm guitar. The lead solo was right on the money. I'm rockin' to it!
This is great, Feels like prime 70's early eighties rock, when they made good music. I detect a wee bit of the late Bon Scott in those vocals. A wee bit of playfulness with in that cool but ballsy delivery. Great raw tones on those guitars. This one would go down well live.

AAA cannot insure you from RRRR (RAW , RAUCOUS, RAUNCHY, RON!)
A lecture from the Professor Of Rockology at In Your Face University...
Theres kegs o plenty and chicks in scanty clothing everywhere on this campus... and you can look all over the campus for a rooster but the only cock to be found is this stud artist..
Duly instructed . The message is clear. Get off my lawn.. all the carpet here is mine!
What a rock show you got Ron!!!
This is pure rock and it goes forward like a train!
Well written and performed. The "chugging" guitars sound fab at the chorus. Brilliant song!
