Ok this is my new band called "The Mops".... it's me and the drummer Cas (as in Casio keyboard).
I had the idea for a song like this and a band that I would call the Mops and we would do songs like this one... I am going to try and pull this off at open mic... it's going to be fun... and I will play bass to that drums and I need a guitar player and another singer... anyway...

I wish I had your imagination, my friend.

its like B-52s kind of vibe for sure.......a real hoot and a half....brown toilet trout....oh my gosh.....
Easy the mops.
I love the Stephen style of backing vocals, jumping in and out.
The toilet trout lyric makes me queezy though lol.
Zappa esqe music stephen style.
That les paul sounds cool.
I love how you can create a song from any subject...toilet trouts ! Brilliant !
I'd love to apply for the guitarist vacancy in The Mops but unfortunately I live too far away :-[

You are on crazy creative nutter. Nothing doesn't inspire you and I love that. Great fun here brother.
Rock on!
Your imagination and creativity is astounding, Stephen; we're never sure what you'll come up with next.
Different for you, but I'm liking this very much, really suits your vibe, just 😎
I Like the sound of that band Stephen, I think the " mops" will be a great band. ;)
This has a bit of a talking heads vibe. I love your styles of songs mate, the music, lyrics and vocals are
always a joy to hear.
Drums and bass are great. Love the lead guitar too and mixing is brilliant.
Great production. You're constantly improving in all aspects of songwriting / production. The bassline is lean and mean and those quirky additional sounds are the icing of the cake. The mix is wide and airy. The arrangement is super focused and makes most of all the melodies and lyrical ideas.
There's a lot to take in this song and it makes for a great repeat listen. 80s vibes and kinda soundtrack type of feel to it. I could imagine this playing on a John Candy comedy movie soundtrack.
Certainly different yet i'd put this on the "Best of Stephen" album.
Okay, from the description I wasn't expecting much but this thing is cool. Kind of an 80's throwback but not really. I have some friends who call casio drum music "Casiocore" and this is a great entry into that faux-genre. Dang, this is enticing.
Weird lyrics as usual ;D but high quality playing and production on this, everything well balanced. Unique kind of sound, quite creative I think. Rock on!
Got B-52's vibe too. Fun and creative! I like the unique style by you!
