Just between us, John is starting to concern me. The track will make this self-evident.
Haven't decided if I should futz with the drums or just leave them consistent throughout.
Peace.
Blooby
I don't know why he's concerned. The track speaks for itself ... in a kind of greazy, sultry, seductive kind of way.
seedy ... creepy ... unsavory
Sorry for the expletives but you both are fucking awesome. Movie credits for sure, that's worth a few thousand bucks.
Great driving bass, I love bass. And the delicious guitar picking. Drums are fine but it would be nice to hear organic imperfectness. The vox remind me of Jerry Harrison, someone I think was underrated. Maybe his hair was too curly for the general public I don't know.
Anyway you both are prime rate for sure.
Just rock,in.
Had started an line this is just too cool!
If you listened to this on your phone or laptop, I'm putting you on notice: You need to listen to this in headphones or cranked through some earthquake-ready speakers. Now!
The song has that sexyscary feel that can be creepy – yet it's not. It's kind of woke; an invitation asking for consent. Just stay the fuck away from my wife, John.
I could go either way on the drums. Super simple works. I can also imagine one or two explosive fills.
Cool bass and guitar tones...with some tasty picking! The sultry, bluesy vocal and lyric content work well with the music. Solid vocals and delivery John! The drums didn't draw my attention in a negative way so if they don't bug you, let them be. Good work guys!
ya gotta have balls to sing something like this and with the swagger to own it... and by god, Lurker does!
this thing got serious bad ass all over it. It's kind of like that song by Bad Company "Feel Like Making Love" ....
it's almost ridiculous to sing something like that and so few could pull it off but Bad Company and Paul Rodgers did...
I think this reminds me of that!
killer tune...killer music.... totally bad ass.
Love this! Great bluesy feel and excellent guitar work along with that cool vocal.
I'm all flushed ... I know I've had a wine or two ... and now I'm all ... I'm all I don't know what ! .... I'm a quiver! ... John! stop it!! I'm here for you .. stop that hand in the glove it'll do no good... let guitar ring
Cool production guys, 8) all pro quality stuff. I'm sure there's a lady out there right now who is ready and waiting.
:o
By all means futz around with the drums. Add some fills. Kick it into the stratosphere.
;) John B
You dirty, dirty boys! Stop it right now. Don't you know there are repressed Englishmen listening to this?
Love it really. The song too.
Paul
Yes back for more coolness, quality!!

Sweet sheeet men......what a track......intense and loose......awestruck at how good this sounds........dirty and clean.......Brilliant
I've listened to this several times now over the last several days and it is an amazing song. Equally great guitar playing and singing on this. Really pro level in terms of both songwriting and performance. Congrats!

Um... I think you gotta have serious balls to sing like this... but I also think that the music Blooby does here cast this spell on Lurker...
There likely is more than a few ways to get into someones pants and I could see that this tact would work... Id bet a hundred dollar bill that if you guys did this song in a packed bar you'd both get a few invites...
I think it worked but John seems to lose a bit of his machismo on Reverie singing about the passionate outcome from singing this to that someone... and that someone responded...
I should not, but I really like this one...
