Bobby died 36 years ago he was a good friend of mine he had a twin brother who committed suicide while he was travelling around Europe Bobby never forgave himself he always thought he'd let him down and he ended up doing the same at the age 21.I've never forgot him he was a lovely guy.(Decided I liked it better with just the guitar)
Bobby was only around for a short while
he was a good good friend of mine
As Young man he was oozing with life
Bobby was pretty wild
Yeah Bobby was pretty wild

Bobby you were crazy
Life never seemed to get you down
You  was always on some kind of adventure
You were always good to have around
Life didn't seem to every get you down
 
Bobby was always ready to party
He'd make you laugh with his tall stories
Always had a tale about an adventure he'd been on
Then he went travelling with his buddy
Then he went travelling with his buddy and his brother died

Well bobby couldn't handle the grief
He felt guilty, he felt like there must have been some thing he could of done
His brother his twin had jumped of a building
Bobby came undone

Such a sad story. But a great song and a fine tribute to your lost friend.

Wow, that was heavy. So sorry. Good catharsis while being a fitting tribute.

The back story certainly adds to the lyrics.

the piano and guitar sound great.  It has a classic song story feel.  The story line is sad, but there is more there.  It is to me a fond remembrance of who Bobby was, and was to the song writer.  That makes this very special.

I think Bobby would have liked this (maybe he is - from the other side). The style seems to fit with the free spirit that he was. A very moving song, lovely words.

Well done, Bobby is in better place now and well remembered by yourself.
I had a good friend who was only nineteen when he passed remember him to this day nearly 40 years ago.

God, what a sad subject..sorry to hear that.
This is a great song to pay tribute to him. The guitar sounds fab. And your usual amazing vocals.
