Like the majority I am a survivor of divorce and there is not many things in life to match the loss that one feels after a failed marriage . After all you were in it for the long haul, you have to take time to look at and after yourself and heal before carrying on into the new world that awaits you...I'll have another go at the vocals when I can find time but it is what its at least the ideas recorded..
holy heck man... I love that crazy piano... it fits the vibe of the lyric so well... what an idea Trev...
if you did nothing with this it is good on it's own...
could be an amazing song in a musical... but stands perfectly fine on it's own...
great scott man!
Oh yeah.......this is good........this is the goods........talk about making art from your pain........art..........pain.....life.........hope...........rebirth..........
Brilliant Trevor, I love the direct honesty of the lyrics. I love how it feels like the music is flow along with the vocal, very live feel. This one goes straight to the source!
I wouldn't re- record the vocals - they're perfect.
I feel like my brother just gave me some real advice.
Love it Trevor, it just works. Keys are fantastic.
Beautiful, Trevor.
I've only been married once. And, amazingly, after 35 years - I still am. Not sure how she puts up with it.
Lovely song Trev, I had the same thoughts as Stephen on this as I immediately thought this should be in a musical, it has a vey theatric feel to it.Love the keyboard work !

Gave this vocal another go and I still haven't got it how I hear it in my head.... but this is close enough.Three vocals together. I'm trying to get it to sound that the left & right vocal are giving the centre vocal advice that the centre vocal already knows.....I should really get a life shouldn't I :o
Very moving song, Trev and I agree with Steve that this would work great in an appropriate musical. That mad piano works so well and the lyrics are so incisive.
I've been listening to this for a couple days, a great creation. No matter what you do it will be great, has a truth that will be recognized by many
That off-kilter upright piano sound has the soul of a deranged clown. I don't know how you even find a sound like that.
I like it.

Listened to this on phones and voice(s) sounds so good, like piano, too.
Got 'a song from a musical' vibe, too. Top class job, Trev!
The music sounds like being in a saloon in the old West. On drugs.
What a great atmosphere and theatrical delivery. Agree that it has Musical theatre potential.
Brilliant stuff.
I'm sorry to hear about that Trevor..what a song though. The erratic piano playing fits just right for the lyrics which I guess is portraying your feelings of despair , depression etc.
really touching and relevant lyrics.
