Kenny and myself have been working on an album for the last couple of months. It's a concept album about an alien invasion of the planet Starturian.
The album contains 9 songs and is called "The Starturian Prophecy".
We called our group "60 Light Years" since we both turned 60 this year .. :)
This was a great and joyful experience for both of us.
Also special thanks to Hook and Ella who did the narration and to my wife Shelly who did the album cover.

Is there any way to download the whole album as MP3s? The WAV of first song is 88.2 MB. I'll slow down the entire Madagascan economy if I continue downloading the whole album this way.

EDIT: I managed to nab the MP3s used by the player on the website.

Excellent production ...excellent narrating Hook....Loving that solo in dirupticators ....lovingKenny's vocals in the escape and those backing vocals really make the track.....overall production is a wow... throughly enjoying the Staturian ride so far.....the guitar work in new world is great.... Poor old Ravon has a lot of responsibility..... lost in the stars the acoustic and the droning synth really set the scene crescendoing with another excellent solo love that tone .....Hope another great track with an excellent emotional vocal ....Freedom... we've landed....an excellent piece of work from all those involved ...Bravo !

Yes good point Ted, I left them as .WAV to keep the sound quality but I didn't realize that the .WAV would be so big to download. I will convert them later today to .MP3s and reload them into the site

Guys this is really spectacular.  What a well told story. Kenny your vocals are so fucking powerful. What an accomplishment,  thanks for letting me be a part of this.

Hook, I have to say that you did a phenomenal job with the narration .. it really brings a smooth transition into the songs.. Kenny came up with this great story line and lyrics .. and I agree Kenny's vocals are incredible (as his guitar playing) .. I've listened to this album about 100 times, so I know all the lyrics by heart now  ;D

Well ,what a magical site this is.
From one song we collaborated on to this.
I knew from that song there was something waiting to come out,like seeing something sticking out the sand and digging it out.
godinqc done a fantastic job,,,on everything and to have hook and piavi (Ella )on board was the icing on the cake.
Hook,my wife says you should be working for Disney doing voice overs maybe using this as part of a portfolio you could open up some new doors.
It's very humbling to hear the comments, I've never been a confident guy but songcrafters gave me a push.
Running alongside this I
was working on another album with old friends so work and life balance was hard but I looked forward every time to those files dropping in from godinqc, I shall miss that.

Cracking listen lads, I listened to this while working today and it was a very good listen. A fine accomplishment indeed.

This is an outstanding accomplishment to put together a complex project like The Starurian Prophecy, kudos to all involved! Great lyrics, vocals, guitars, chord structures, narration and backing vocals.  Kenny, GodinQC, Hook and Ella are masters of your crafts!

The creativity on this site never ceases to amaze. This sounds awesome. It reminds me of the story telling on 'War of the worlds' - gobsmacked.

What a massive undertaking! I haven't listened to it all yet, but I'm blown away by what I've heard so far.

Finally today (after night shifts) I could focus on this. I went for a walk in the forest with headphones and listened to this.

Just an amazing album, guys! It's nice mix of ambient music and rock/pop or what ever...great album. Hope was the favorite of mine.

The both of you are great musicians and song writers!

Hook's nice voice works nicely on narrator...and Ella's too.

I take my hat off..(Redler, another guy born in1962).

I just found out about this yesterday night.  But I have already heard the whole thing.  This explains why KM had seemed so absent music wise on the SC site!!!!  I am sure i will have more detailed comments about individual songs down the road as I listen.  Let me say my first impressions.  Besides WOW. 

--1.  You work so well together.  Very complementary.

--2.  Hook was amazing as Narrator.  I don't remember the female voice yet. 

--3.  Kenny's solos were soaring.  serious shit man... legit

--4.  Michel's work was anything but behind the scenes.  I have listened to enough of GodinQC's work to hear how great this was.  My only complaint would be. (and some would never know enough to miss this) needed some more GodinQC solos.. but really Steve...that is being really picky
--5.  Kenny's vocals showed versatility that listening to a song or two of his at a time I would never have noticed.  Because of the nature of this work it brought out alot of further ability details of your vocals Kenny... most excellent work.

all in all... exciting, depressing, discouraging, intriguing, uplifting.... pretty dang good!  standing ovation. 

The very start of the Starturian demonstrates amazement.  The Hook had me line and sinker at the first bite... then it morphs into something like a meld between Sting and U2, without competitive spirit, just spirit of joy.  Kenny's vocals over the top of that lovely rhythmic guitar is beyond description in greatness.

the hunger, the passion, the emotion shines forth in the playing and singing.... BRAVO out of the gate.

Hook's voice actually pummels me right into my belly... impressive..... grabs you...but inviting...

The Deep Blue Light:

KM the vocal at 4:20 is so off the charts good the only thing I can compare it to is some of Dennis DeYoung"s work on "Rocking the Paradise" off Styx LP called "Paradise Theater."  That was Styx most financially successful LP and a real gem amongst many. 
If you did nothing else the whole entirety of the Saturian project, that is enough.

and then there is one other thing I must mention first.  or second... it's Michel lead.  GodinQC lead is OFF THE CHARTS. 

So if anyone might be tempted to think )gasp( that this project all sounds the same must have skipped over DISRUPTICATORS!

That panning at the start... that beat... that militaristic tingy dingy thingy...blew my mind... followed by the God In QC on that damn guitar!  Wow and over that bass beat and drums...followed by Kenny's "gonna blow your galdang mind lead).... and his singing over that wicked rhythm distortion gitr....

mind blowin stuff fella..fellas... this is mobster music... i am intimitdated!  wow.

"The Escape" just showed up while listening to my music backlog on my computer. What a song!
