Playing catch up again, last month was the worst month i have ever had, my daughter Debbie moved to Australia with her son a couple of years ago, I recently got a call from her telling me she had cancer, some years ago I went to New Zealand when our Bridgette got cancer she is still getting treatment after 10 years she has been phoning Debbie to help her through it, when we got a call that she had been to the hospital for a check up and she is in a bad way they have given her months it has now got into her bones, to top it all y youngest girl Michelle contacted us she went for a check up only to find she had the start of it but lucky enough they said they hsve found it early enough, the thing is she has not told her sisters abroad because she said they have enough to worry about tbemselves, I just cant believe it, speak soon... I can't think of anything to say that might help. I would say though thank you for sharing this with us. It cannot be easy. I got a call the other day from a friend I see as often as I can who has been in a wheel chair for 20 years and is in constant pain. He told me it was goodbye and that he was going to end his life. I didn't know what to say then either. But I did say that I would miss him, that I love him, and that I wish he wouldn't, but I understood why he felt that way.
I lost my sister to cancer 9 years ago, she was 60 though...it was still hard.

Life is so fragile. Devastating when things like cancer hit those you love. Lost my brother to it a few years back. All you can do is be supportive and hope for remission. I feel for ya Alex. Hang in there buddy.

Tears of joy this month, Michelle, my youngest has had all her cancer cells
removed she is doing well must have a check up in 6 Months.
My Daughter in Australia got the all clear yesterday, she has had quite a rough few months, she was well looked after being a nurse.
Poor Bridgette is still battling on they keep trying new things on her, the downside it is in her bones now, but she is a fighter, were getting there..... Alex
