Sometimes collaborations take some strange turns that really ends up in the right place ..
This is still a work in progress but Osckilo and ORH have twisted my arm so here's what's done so far.
I did the guitarwork and ORH did the magic !!
Sweet stuff.
Oooh... I love this. Your playing and tone is magnificent, Geir. Real quality. And orh has a voice that fits inside this folky celtic kinda vibe like a very comfortable glove. Lovely words and sentiments too.
Yes indeed - Greeny said it!! I luv this!!
cool as hell, this forum is taking off into the stars with all this great music being produced lately.
I listened to this on some cheapo pc speakers earlier, and then had another go on some isolation headphones when I had time to sit back for a second - Absolute ear candy without question!!!
Your guitar parts are fresh and exciting, Geir and the finish work had to have taken a lot of time and effort. The results - Magic!!
ORH, I'm impressed again - using your voice as an instrument ain't easy, and you get them to nestle in this tune quite nicely - Not sure if it's possible to weld vox to the music, but if it is you did it here!
Glad this one wasn't held back!
Mark

Geir you just keep amazing me. And ORH seems to just have words that flow from his mouth. Great collab.
Lovely collab. Nicely played and heartfelt vox. Great stuff.
Cheers,
Nigel
Everything fits so nicely... the guitars and vocal interpretation. Fine writing and playing, both of you.

Great song and collab guys!! Had to listen again!! Terrific job!!
We are the people - we come together on common ground - we have more in common then what appears...these lyrics says it all!!
Geir-man you are a viking!! - hey you know Yngwie does a song called "I Am a Vikiing" - maybe we can collaborate on that or something like that sometime...?
Of course I think ORH is a viking too - or I should say a Sir William Wallace Higgins - hero!!
I forgot how good this was..........!
So when is the Yngwie cover happening?
Oh yeah thats the goods guys. Top pro job here, perfection is a strong word, but it seems to fit here. Beautiful, I am full of musical wonder and inspiration listening to this this morning.
it is almost shameful how often I miss a masterpiece on this site until it is bumped. Simply beautiful.

I think the Yngwie Stuff is a bit out of my league, but I'll have a listen if I can find it in my collection. What album was it on?
