I'm using the free zoom, so limited to 40 minutes - I'm hoping the technology works
Last time, Zoom was feeling 'generous' and let us stay on longer.
Yip that happened to me too, but can't rely on it
Just a little tip - after the 40 mins are up you can usually log back in off the same link. I've had Zoom meetings with friends that have gone on for hours.
Great idea lads a bit late for me tonight , but i would love to meet and have a chat up on the zoom platform , have fun lads and dont drink to much
Dunny
Turns out crashing a party is fun.
btw/// I had a blast seeing everyone....still giddy!
Thanks boys - sorry I got kicked off!
Sorry Hilary, dunno what happened. You were there, and then suddenly gone.
I need to figure out how zoom works properly, to stop people having to be admitted each time they join. Will do some research today. We carried on till 1am, so suitably tired this morning - hope all enjoyed a beer and a chat - I thought it was a fun evening.
Thanks to all who joined - it was incredibly easy to set up - and Zoom extended the meeting indefinitely, so didn't need to log back in again and again.
Stephen and Tom joined from the US - and that worked without issue. I was mighty jealous of seeing sun and blue skies from the bleak mid winter UK!!
If people enjoyed it, let me know - and we can organise another. Anyone can do it, it costs nothing and is very easy to set up - if someone else wants to org - else I can do?
Last night was a beer and chat, but we could have performances if some would like to do? Let me know ...
B
I'd definitely be up for it again and would very much like to hear you all perform.
Thanks Bruno.
yes...like a coffee house or pub scenario where anyone wants to perform...kind of open mic....would love to hear some of that...

I blame Jackie Weaver.
Great to see some of the usual suspects again, and what a pleasure to have Steve and TC online from all the way across the pond.

Yes - that was great! And impressed that T C managed to endure our mad / drunk waffle to the bitter end!
I'd love to catch up with you all.
I should have logged on to see if there was any Zoom action last night. I can only blame myself.
Hopefully catch you one day.
Ian

It helps that I can only understand about half of what most of you are saying. [/mostly kidding]
was great to see you piggy, and apologies to all for being a gabby bugger, it's the first chance i have had in a while to chat in a group setting due to current circumstances et al.

That's good, because only about half of it actually makes sense...... :D
I loved it but was a bit apprehensive about saying too much as last time my apparently my accent was hard to make out,so apologies if this was the case again.
Dont know how a zoom jam would work,I really enjoyed the chat with you guys and it was nice to see you again hilary.
You had us all laughing.
I've taken Scottish lessons now Kenny so it's all good!
Everyone mutes and then 1 person at a time takes it in turn to unmute and plays/sings something. We won't be able to play/sing together but it's a start (unless Bruno sorts the lagging out).
Whit's fur ye'll no go by ye!
