Seeing there no use in holding back the urge to put out some Young music I hereby declare the NeilFest for open
(as someone already has jumped the gun I didn't really have a choice, did I ;D) )

Go for it Nigel! I jumped the gun a bit in my excitement and got this thing rolling prematurely (sorry Geir!!!!). I've waited a long time to record 'Heart of Gold' though, lol.

Powderfinger, man o man I cant wait to hear that!  I think this whole Neilfest is just going to keep on rolling for the whole month of June, there are so many songs to play around with.  I also have waited a long time to try to record any of these songs that I have loved my whole life, this little Neilfest has given me the push I needed.  I have a couple more in the works right now, I am working on an acoustic "unplugged" version of "Like A Hurricane" and have started on Albuquerque.  I hope to get these two out this week (frigging work interfering with the really important things in life, arghhh!!) The floodgates have been opened, my inner Neil has been released, I can't stop now!!!!!!!!!

Ya, I just found that late lastnight (or early this morning).  Man!!! I was blown away!!! Hooper's super tight production and your vocals were very good!! Well I finally started work on Powderfinger, so I hope the festival isn't ending soon. But listening to the guitar this morning I will have to redo it all cos I don't quite like the guitar effect I used (too much compression). And I also have a sinus infection, so the singing might have to wait (altho that might actually make it sound better...).

I want to know, I love all your drum tricks. I can't commit to lay down any banjo, but I could commit to lay ON a banjo. Would that count?

When the NIELFEST is declared over and done, I would love it if someone would put proper tags on these MP3s, and consolidate them into a single .torrent file. 

Is that a lot to ask?
