Wrote & recorded this yesterday in the car with my Hilo Baritone Uke (low tuned) and my Br80.
Couples Costume
written & performed by Hook
I've got an invite and it says + 1
it's a costume party it could be a lot of fun
let's get a couples costume you know it'll be real cute
I've got an idea let's just wear our birthday suits
we could parade in all our glory and get out and strut our stuff
but maybe being naked just isn't really enough
We could Dress Up all In leather and put a ball in my mouth
You could hit me with a whip & the ball will muffle all my shouts
We could dress up just like tigers you be the mom I'll be the Cub
you could give me a bath you know Tigers don't use no tub
I've got an invite and it says + 1
it's a costume party it could be a lot of fun

You could dress up like an alien and I'll be the abducted schmuck
Experiment and probe me God could I have that much luck
We could be Kurt and Courtney and do heroin before we go
you be slutty and incoherent and I'll carry a Shotgun just for show
You could dress up like Hitler and I could be the Jew
think of all the horrible offensive things we could do

Hook, the baritone Uke sounds great! Very creative lyric with just the right touch of bawdiness. Well done! A cool ending with the chuckle.

Wow - that song is dark, dark, dark brother - wouldn't be out of place in the joker movie. That is super cool - loved the lyrics.
