hi tharek, i hit a wall when i first came to this and couldnt find the muse but i came back to it last night no words but the tune running in my head, this happened this morning when the muse came back.
It's like finding a nugget of gold from a Young Robert Zimmerman. All the way to Hibbing from the Milky Way.
Marvellous, wondrous stuff.
Just beautiful. A slow, gentle tugging on the heart. This is my favourite of your collaborations so far.
This is a stunning vocal!
It's amazing how you were able to work with and around the harmonica!
You have completed this piece!
Your vocal range is astounding!!!!
Bono -meets- Bowie -meets- Dylan and the rest!
Your voice has a youthfulness about it. It is infused with the zeal and understanding of life, that only comes with experience!
The lyrics are equally amazing!
It's like you were in the present in the room when we were Laying down the tracks....!
The scene you presented was just as we tried to portray!
We salute you Sir.......An artist.......A visionary..."filthy animal".....and friend! ;)
Peace
Tharek and Kai

You have discovered what I discovered last year. It really is. Listen to some of the stuff ORH did on the Nevermet site (www.soundclick.com/nevermet) you would think that the players were all together. One is in Argentina, one in Glasgow one in.... you get the picture.
This is brilliant and emotional at the same time. That's the story of my life - "Diamond just out of reach!"
The vox actually make the harmonica stand out even more - It's still alive (Don't let The Boognish have it just yet! :D)
Awesome arrangement!
Mark
I said it begging for a vox and that was exactly what I imagined.....I nearly missed this diamond...Absolutely brilliant Well Done T,Kai and ORH one for my Xplod........
Incredible job on the vocal, it fits perfectly. Space folk.

Brilliantly creative and emotional piece guys.
A hell of a collab.
The music almost puts you in a dream state, then the vox takes you by the hand.
I agree with Mark the vocals accentuate the harmonica in a wonderful way.
Very impressive.
Excellent collab vocal really fit the music to a tee

I opened the OTD jukebox. I didn't intend to bump the first song that played – and certainly not Oldrottenhead. That guy gets bumped so much, it can't be good for his back. But I let it play. I barely started to scan the list, and this song hits me like a Proustian Madeleine with a brick baked inside. It's from 2009, when I was a young man of 47, but it feels like I've known this song much longer. I'm delivered to a different emotional place from where I was a few minutes ago. It's not for me to say what music should do, but this is what music should do.

I think that's a great description for this beautiful, beautiful gem.
