I have been known to use the phrase "A Lesser Man Might Struggle." Clearly a bit tongue in cheek in my case, but I thought it might make a good tune title.

When she heard the breakdown section in the middle my wife said "You are getting weirder by the day." I do hope so.
Let me know what you think.
Paul Chapman
Some good stuff here Paul. The guitar work, the keys, the everything is very creative. On the breakdown and your wife's comment "You are getting weirder by the day." I think it was a compliment, lol. An excellent song and playing!

Hi Paul,
Just had a couple of listens on Soundcloud too:)
Really good...Loving the heavy riffs so meaty:)
Weird bit is the best....day by day..bring the weirdness on :)
Damn wholesome stuff kid:)
Nick
Top class playing Paul.
You're on the ball.
Well done.
Alex
Some great heavy riffage, worryingly I didn’t find anything weird, should I be concerned? An excellent post. Willie
Bad ass brother, just totally cool. Its also cool that your wife listens to your songs...mine doesn't.
Rock on!
Prog rock at its best!
Really heavy riffs and beautiful melodies - all put well together! Enjoyable listening as always!
Paul, you've excited my Inner Lizard with this song. Killer licks to be sure.
This is the song that should have been playing in the background while Godzilla was remodeling Tokyo.
Such a cool piece, it really rocks and swings. Great how you play the dynamics off each other, and also the creative use of synth effects in the break.

I read the end as I was taking a drink of my tea and about spit it out! :D :D
I use Studio One Pro 3 also. Made the jump from SONAR a few years back.
Good stuff!
Its a brilliant mixture of guitar sounds and styles and tribute to you Paul . like your misses comment . take that as a compliment
love guitar music !!
Hypnotic and menacing - loved the weird middle - very cool. Detuned goodness as well, I think the kids call that 'boss', but it sounds pretty phat to me :-) What did you tune down to?
B
Mental!
Love it.
Excellent guitar playing.
Brilliant,even the mad bit ;D
A little belter from the 2017 Samplers,
Nice one Paul...
Alex.
I like digging back through the Chapters of Chapper....and finding these incredible songs...and guitar "widdling" I think he calls it..

Thanks for another bump Stephen. Sorry Bruno, I missed the question. It was a long time ago but I think I used a pitch shifter in my axe FX rather than tune down. It does sound rather meaty doesn't it?
Paul
Nice of stephen to bump this, instant download after first 10 seconds. Sounds amazing throughout. Love there synths and the heavy guitars. And love that "weird" middle bit, sounded like you were flicking through the radio stations, very cool.
darren
I love the sound of this. That fractal is the business. Maybe some vocal on the breaks? Nice job
LoL 35 tracks ! Chapperz is back, definitely ;-)
I like your 'weirdness': you should include your wife's comment in the song out loud LoL, and the guitar is really singing here. Bravo Paul ;-)
This song was posted about 3 years before I joined this site so I am only hearing now. And what a great track! Excellent production and performance and the de-tuned guitar makes for a super sound. Great stuff, Paul.
Missed this back in the day. Fab production of some cool ideas (that I will tuck away for a rainy day). I dig the weird in you.
Blooby
Yea, I also missed this one. Killer instrumental. 35 tracks! WOW!
As they say...checks all the boxes...or in my case, pushed all my buttons! (BTW, my wife won't listen to any of my music either....)
35 tracks wow.
This sounds great production wise and the guitar play is off the charts.
Yeah dig that mash up at 2:30
Well done Paul
