Title: Night Time is the Hard Time
Post by: The Gobi Desert Canoe Club on September 20, 2017, 01:36:37 PM
Hi all, Mrs Willie is babysitting again and I'm never one to waste an opportunity. Hope you enjoy.  Willie

I saw you in a dream last night
I saw you in that pale moonlight
But then you start to drift away
I saw you in that Summer dress
You always looked your best
I reached but you always turned away

And night time is the hard time
And my room seems kinda bare

I thought you were the perfect girl
You had my senses in a whirl
But then you start to drift away
I only see you in my dreams
My arms are empty so it seems
I reach but you always turn away

And night time is the hard time
And my room seems kinda bare

Instrumental

And night time is the hard time
And my room seems kinda bare

I saw you in a dream last night
I saw you in that pale moonlight
But then you start to drift away
I only see you in my dreams
My arms are empty so it seems
I reach but you always turn away

Loved it, Willie - from the subject matter to those jangly guitars and the soaring leads.

What a brilliant sound Willie,
Love the jangly guitars,
Great vox as always,
Keep babysitting Mrs.Willie.  :D

Another little nugget Willie. Sounds like an old classic to me. When that great lead playing comes in it takes it to another level. Great stuff.

Seems like you've been busy Willie, this is great. Top shelf all the way.
Rock on!
