John (Lurker) and myself had a gig canceled at the last minute. We decided to fire up the DAW (been a while), and this weirdness popped out. Even got some 5/4 against 4/4 in the oddball solo section. The product of some rare free time and some Black Bush Irish Whiskey.
The remix beefs up the bass in spots, drops out the vocals during the second half of the solo, and I transposed some outro volume swells up two octaves.
Blooby
You Showed Me Beautiful
Left me to crawl
Left me to die
Left me not knowing
Reasons why
Depending on you
Was my big mistake
I should have known
You were on the make
I gave you my trust
Gave you my all
You offer nothing
I take the fall
Thought I was smart
Thought I could see
No one could take
Advantage of me
I'm still reeling
Not believing
How I fell for
All your lies
You left me cold
You left me quick
I just fell
For every trick
You're away clean
I get the mess
You were clever
I must confess
I'm still reeling
Not believing
How I fell for
All your lies
I'm still reeling
Not believing
How I fell for
All your lies
I'm still reeling
Not believing
How I fell for
All your lies
I'm still reeling You were so cool
Not believing You were so bad
How I fell for Promising things
All your lies I had to have
I'm still reeling You showed me beautiful
Not believing You showed me free
How I fell for You showed me everything
All your lies I wanted to be
I'm still reeling You were so cool
Not believing You were so bad
How I fell for Promising things
All your lies I had to have
Great stuff, chaps! It's got a real classic rock feel to it... sounds a bit "Steppenwolf" in places. Superb guitar tones & a killer solo. Bravo!
Brilliant guys , absolutely Brilliant.
Alex

Crunchy and Rockin' guys. That chorus part reminds me of Chris Goss -Masters of Reality. Great ending!

What a song and production!! Sounds a rock classic to me - especially the chorus!
Great performance by all of you and that bass tone is reaallyy good!
Brilliant!
Guys I thought I had commented on this but no. I must have gotten so caught with the first listen that I forgot to do it, lol.
Anyway back for another listen and comments. A great classic rock vibe here Blooby and John! I hear shades of Deep Purple popping out. I think it must be the effect on Blooby's guitar that gives it a Jon Lord driven B3 sound plus John's vocal fits the style perfectly. You guy's need to over indulge in that Irish Whiskey some more if this is the result!

That is a beefier tone to the whole thing. well done guys, badass sounding in my earbuds, my drums are banging.
Rock on!
