Title: "What Kind?" a Hook original

I've been writing this one since I got home from Finland. Recorded it today on the br80. I used my Merlin and did the main track in my closet. The rest in the studio. Roland handsonic 10 for drums. Really just an excuse for some 5/4...& 6/8.
What Kind?
written & performed by Hook
I can never tell
just how my head is held
is it strength or confidence
arrogance or pride
and if Pride what kind?

I can never tell
if I've walked a straight line
am I impaired
just unaware
unforgettably etched in time
if so tragedy? Comedy?

What kind will they find
when they see this on Stone
or perhaps on cell phone
will they be entertained
or sadly dismayed
when they discover this find
Our Kind

I can never tell
if I've abused the well in welcome
am I sitting blind
on someone else's time
and I can't help but wonder
what kind?

Is it ignorance
and isn't that Bliss

Cool rhythm you have and the lyrics are so well written...What will future generations find...Great tune.

Thank you for pointing me to this, Hook. This is really well performed. Playing in odd meters can be a challenge, but you pulled it off nicely.
