First thing that came to my mind is Steely Dan. Showing my age, I guess.
This is a top shelf professional band at work. All performance, recording, and mixing is of the highest level and I greatly enjoyed listening to this rock, jazz, funk, fusion. (There's probably a better way to characterize.)
Mike Basil's lyrics are perfectly showcased and accentuated by Steffen's original music and production. I love the guitars in this piece as they slip and slide through the fairly fast paces score. I like to hear the drums out front and such is the case here.
I don't know you guys yet but I sure hope to hear more from you. This one's a beauty.

Outstanding performances, production, and songwriting. Steffen you work with some top notch musicians then go on to mix these sessions in a professional radio ready fashion...No, this is much better than radio today. Great work!
