Title: Secret session guy
Post by: kenny mac on July 18, 2017, 04:43:48 AM
This subject is a follow on from my comments from my take on the killers performance at Glastonbury.
Have you ever been to a concert where the session guy or girl is off stage either behind the amps etc or slightly off stage.
It really annoys me because it's like the band are saying we are  the stars, that dude doesn't count.
The killers had a guy with a telecaster shoved right behind the guitarist's wall of amps.
Shame.

Garry Moir used to do that in his Big Yin Tribute act, he would have our very own Stix Diamond hidden in a portable wardrobe playing guitar.

Whilst Gary performed on stage with a guitar with no strings, but it was all part of Gary's act, Stix was revealed at the end of the first song, to much hilarity, then Stix would remain on stage for any further songs.
