First for a while recorded this with my new toys when I was,nt well my wife and step son decided to try and cheer me up so I was told to stay in and collect a delivery of a pair of jeans for him well the van showed up and a guitar shaped box and another smaller box arrived.
I said, "sure that,s for here" the guy said "yes sign here", got them inside and it turned out to be Gretsch Jet club pro and a THR Yamaha 5 watt amp (by the way the effects on that small amp are just teriffic).
So here goes all Gretsch and Yamaha with BR80 drums and some what crocky voice.
Brilliant song john, the new guitar sounds excellent and your voice is great as well.
Love the lyrics on this as well.
So good to have you back mate,so good.
Made my Saturday night seeing and hearing this.
This is a great song, SE! The new gear sounds amazing and your voice is sounding better than ever. Well done!

I searched Google Images for the Gretsch Jet Club Pro and it looks like a gorgeous guitar. I noticed it comes in several colours though. Could you post a picture of yours?
Great to hear a new song from you, John! Congrats on the new Gretsch (sounds fab), and your vocals are rocking!

Can't keep a great songcrafter down. Great song. Gear sounds spectacular. I love those amps.
Rock on!
What a fine song, John! Nice guitar tone, congrats for the new gear!
Liked the "double" vocals on the chorus - it works really well!
Welcome back!
Hi John,
What a way to bounce back! Brilliant track and a nice new guitar an amp sounding bloody gorgeous. Vocals are superb! - this is going on the PiePod.
I'm putting together a playlist for the annual mini festival I do the sound for. It's to provide music during the band switch-over. I hope you don't mind if this goes on it.
Hope you're solidly on the mend.
Cheers
Mike
I echo what others have said. Really enjoyed this and so very good to see you here again. I am particularly enamored of the guitar layering going on here. That amp sounds great...I mean really great.
Peace.

That Gretsch is gorgeous! Nice amp too. I've heard only good things about the Yamaha THR series amps.
Great song! I love the guitar work. You definitely know how to play with these new toys. As for the voice, the roughness adds to the attitude for this song. Your travails did nothing to harm your phrasing or your sense of pitch. Keep singing. It will help you heal.
Wow! Very solid performance and production!
Absolutely incredible guitar tones!
Hi SE... this is super. there is a real warmth to this track in lyrics, performance and production too. a real feel good track, actually just what i needed. great stuff!
Mike

Fine looking axe too!

Good to hear you again. And a very nice sound, indeed.
I'm back for another listen to this fantastic jewel of a song! The Gretsch is a fine looking and sounding guitar. So is the Yamaha amp.

Like Mike said - this is feel good-track. I hope you are feeling good too. I´m sorry you have had so hard times. I hope everything is alright now. Your voice sounds great, by the way. :D
I've listened to this five times and I still can't come up with a worthy comment... Dude, it's amazing!!! Always been a fan, always will be - You rock, period. One of the best voices on Songcrafters - Not to mention the killer guitar textures!
Not sure what is going on in your life, haven't caught up with you in a while but I hope you are doing well.
Yes - I love it!!!!!
