Such a sad loss... My favorite vocalist from the "Grunge" era.

We used to have a member that could sing insanely close to Chris's vox.
Anyone here heard from Krasi lately? Would love to do a tribute!

Very sad. Hard to believe.
RIP Chris

Very gutted, such a great voice, if it was suicide its a suprise, seemed all was going right for him. Tough to take in.
A good singer... sad day. RIP Chris C.

I believe grunge was the last musical trend I followed. Got to see Soundgarden a few times back in the day. Shocked to hear first of his death and then it being ruled a suicide. Just sucks.

Yes it sucks. Mourning.
I was saying to my wife... For me, during my extended period of negativity and ultimately rock bottom, Chris Cornell lyrics spoke to me in a way that resonated. Eventually I got my shit together, matured and learned to be happy. Then today I hear about Chris Cornell and think, wow, was he still there is whole time? It makes me feel frustrated. I guess this one got to me.
Very, very sad
'He ended his [last] performance with a cover of Led Zeppelin's "In My Time of Dying."'
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zv_T8zzH19sHere is the final show "full". I haven't had the time to watch it yet. I will check out the final song at some point today. I'm still floor'd over this news. For me... this death weighs heavier than Prince's. I'm with you fuzz... His lyrics where what really got to me. I was always left wandering "What was he thinking?" With his deep profound lyric style, and to top it off with his soulful voice... just left me with goosebumps every time.
Gnasty and Burton did a cover of this Temple of the Dog song (Soundgarden/Pearl Jam). I'm sure glad he bump' d it cause it is friggin awesome!!! Burtog... I was listening to this while reading the CNN report.... Gave me a huge lump in my throat.
