Not sure if anyone has started a place to highlight their favorite drum solo. If so please redirect me... didn't find anything... I did a search.... I'm not just being lazy.... ok maybe I am
I stumbled across this one...
And the award for most dramatic drum solo goes too....

Before & After... this dude became one of the "Greats" at a very young age. I just can't get enough of watching him play.

Tony Royster is ridiculous. He can swing like Brian Blades and he can still play technically.
I would never call this my favorite solo, but it's a freaky textbook example of independence. Drumming starts at 2:20, but his explanation beforehand really gets you to appreciate what's going on.
Blooby
Insanely good Blooby... haven't seen this one
Great vids guys. That Marco Minnemann exercise is amazing.
This has always fascinated me...Carl Palmer solo on just one drum.

Mach, I've not seen just a snare solo but this was wild and crazy good!

For my money the kid aged 12 wipes the floor with the Japenese guy. All brute force and not much finesse. The kid is ten times better. Wow!
This guy drummed for Jeff Beck when he was in dublin a few years ago... he's a real powerhouse but with a fair bit of skill too...
