My favourite singer of all time and great bass player, UK, ASIA and his solo music - listened to John my whole life.

RIP John - one of the music Gods for me.

Oh hell! I loved his work with King Crimson. "Starless and Bible Black" and "Red", both featuring John Wetton, are two of my favourite Crimson albums. As well as his great bass playing and vocals, he wrote the lyrics to "One More Red Nightmare" and "Starless".

A great loss.

He also played with Family for a while and provided the distinctive bass in "Burlesque". Great song.

RIP John Wetton.......he was a force as a bass player but his vocals and writing skills were some of the best.

Yes indeed a lovely voice and a great catalogue of music to look back on. Sad day.
