Hello!
Here's another take of my "New Ballad" backer.
Farrell wrote the lyric and sang this on Friday and suggested that Päivi (Ella) would sing some harmonies on it. So, here we go...

What a lovely song - Sad yes rings a bell with me-- I love the sparseness of the backer -it carries the feeling of loneliness right through the song - Great col-lab gang

This is so beuitiful ,the main vocal from Farrel almost sounds like something Paul Mcartney would do. And the backing vocals are lovely as well. The icing on the cake is of course the sweet music from Kari. A lovely Collab. Nice to see some more collabs coming in now. Well done Kari for rolling that song into the site mate. Keep them coming ;D

Here's the new mix. I removed the humming voice of Päivi and doubled her voice on the choruses. I attached the Mikseri-player with the advice by 64Guitars.
Edit: the player didn't work either on Flash or HMTL5-mode on my PC.
They are both really well done. This is awesome guys. Nice collaboration between you all.

Listened to this earlier today - sometimes this site throw up something special - this struck me as being one of those. What a fabulous collab, absolutely brilliant - what a great vocal, and great, great backing vox and tune and song and recording. Take a bow. Super, super, super. B

I like the new mix and mikseri works well. No waiting. Beautiful tune and Farrell made so touching and wonderful song to it and I just love his voice. So pro. I had difficulties to sing along those long notes. I´m not so pro. :D

This is lovely. The melody and sentiment have a traditional feel to them, the performance is perfect: that cello is gorgeous. I missed this the first time around, so thanks to launched for bumping it.

I don't know how I missed a tune featuring 3 amazing songcrafters but I did and it makes me sad because this song was so beautiful. I can't wait to listen again! Rock on!

stunningly beautiful... the most special part for me is Ella's voice around 2:00 which makes this beauty soar like borne on angels wings!
I wouldn't quite guess Farrell is singing here though although it sounds amazing...likely because it is such a different style which changes the way it is sung I suppose.
the music is gorgeous too... it almost sounds a little like Tim G singing on here too,,
I gotta hear Pipe's version too.

I have heard this already. Great little track. Great job on the lyrics by Farrell. Cool harmonies and the strings sit just right.
