It's a wonder that we ever get a second booking.
:)
When I originally sent this to John, this was the accompanying email:
I am laughing so hard right now. Ribs aching. Tears falling down my face.
This is the worst opening to a gig I have ever heard. No, wait. That's not good enough... I can't even conceive of a gig opening any worse than this. If folks can fight through the solid minute of backwards drone, they are then treated to your cross between Jim Morrison and Vincent Price. The delivery is poetic, borderline narcoleptic, and slightly scary. God, this so funny. I love it!
I think we should just send this to try and get new gigs.
I am so happy to have been a part of this!
This is art!
My soul soars!
That's cool guys... popped in for a bit. Glad I did... Was this live? Interested to hear how you recorded this. Sounds like studio quality. I dig it... Tod

This was live. We plugged a Micro BR into a line out from the house board.
got my juices going. now where is my main course.
I'd book you. But then again, I am a bit odd.....
What a ... "brave" way to start a gig! Seriously, my hat is off to you chaps for having the balls to do your own thing like this as a way of starting a show! Did you get the audience on your side?
Badasses I say bad asses! Rock on!
;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
I was a bit disappointed when it finished . . .

I meant because it had finished, because I was enjoying it. I think I'd better stop now ::)

I'd come back

I like it. It's like soft, hypnotic rain. And it fits the band name. Wish I was there!
I didn't want to start a new thread for this, and this seemed to fit within the whole gestalt of the original post.
So we are doing a gig last Friday, and it dawns on us that everybody is looking at the projection (10'x15' or maybe bigger) of the last few minutes of the Gator basketball game. We decide to stop playing, so I just sort of strum and pluck along to what I was seeing on the court.
No fruit was thrown although in hindsight, I certainly deserved it. My favorite part is when John had the wherewithal to add extra reverb to the last time he chants "air ball."
Blooby
Like it, Some nice pickin Blooby.
