Title: A Melody Idea
Post by: Johnny Robbo on April 20, 2016, 03:33:25 AM
I was playing around this morning & came up with this melody. Can't seem to take it anywhere, but it's got something, I reckon. Anyone else fancy doing something with it? Some lyrics...? A chorus section with this as the verse (or vice versa)...?

Here's the tune & chords written out:

Look at you tabbing everything out, I'm lucky I can record everything so easily now. So many ideas I've lost.
That is a purtty melody, I just might grab at that if it's up for grabs,
Rock On!

I can't get past the metronome it's very distracting.

Just picture a tiny gnome on a plastic kit.

Very nice melody. I hope you can flesh it out as it's certainly worth pursuing. What'd you do the tab in?

Sorry about the click track, Hilary :-[

Blooby... I do my tabs in Guitar Pro, then do a screen capture & save them as a JPEG. You can export as a PDF from Guitar Pro, but it's less legible (really small typeface on the tab numbers) than just hitting "Prt Scr" & pasting into MSPaint. Once you have a JPEG, you can import it into Word, or do anything you like with it, basically.
