Title: "Expected To Be" a Hook original
Post by: Hook on July 17, 2015, 06:34:29 AM
Been working on this the last few days, little by little, here & there.
1 classical guitar (stereo)
1 Drums (GB- stereo)
1 U-Bass
1 Trumpet (TJ-stereo)
1 TC Performer App (stereo)
1 vocal
Expected To Be
written & performed by Hook
I've never felt much
I've never sought out
I always  fought hard
and I never showed doubt
I've never realized
That I never relied
On anyone but me
the truth is seldom scene

Where do I find myself
Can I be
more than I was expected to be

I never look back
I sleep well at night
I'm  completely in control
and that could mean a fight
Confused I might be a
I'm not equipped to judge
I know it's you or me
There's no room to budge

Love it!

The trumpet give a jazzy taste, fine arpeggios on guitar, perfect fine vocals, great strange synth sounds behind/below

I am travelling with your songs

Yes Hook, I really like this , you have some beautiful sounds here, great vox,
and a love the trumpet, I thought I could hear a Jaw Harp at the start...
Well written and performed......

Cool lyrics and very cool sounds. I love the trumpet. I also love the synth layers going on in the background. Great work.

I'm a sucker for those descending chords. Lovely picking on the classical guitar, and as always, a top notch vocal performance. Super lyrics, always make me think.
