Title: Scrabble+Music Theory riddle
Post by: averiguar on May 27, 2015, 04:42:57 PM
You sit down to play a game of Scrabble with your senile aunt Delores.
You reach into the tile bag and pull out the letters A, B, C, D, E, F & G!
Instantly recognizing these as the notes of the musical scale, you ask yourself:

1. What are the longest words you can
spell using the letters given?
(Hint: there are TWO WORDS that are palindromes of each other when placed back-to-back...)

2. Using the words you've determined from the first question,
what chord is created from the notes of
the letters of said words when played on an instrument?
(Hint: there are 5 notes in this chord)

??

Decabbaged?  Apparently this was an old Heathen ritual before trousers were invented. 😣
