I hope you don't mind.
I am posting this instrumental to prompt members to look at the Collaborations section.
I would be grateful if members could sing on a tribute song to Robbie, to be played at his funeral.
I have very limited time to put this all together.
It is a song that Robbie asked me to write when he first found out about his cancer.
He was despondent but optimistic at that moment in time.
Many thanks.

LYRICS:
Down on my luck; the world's caving in
Dazed, and dazzled; my head's in a spin
Stuck in a rut; caught in mid-stream
Struggling, to stay afloat; (I) can't seem to make it to shore
Drifting, downstream; don't know what I'm searching for
Ran out of time; chasing my dreams
No gold, at rainbow's end; (oh) no life of ease
Never planned my tomorrows; didn't dwell on yesterdays
Only lived for the moments, that came my way
Now with hardships looming; my perspective's changed
How I wish those precious moments, were here to stay
Energy's low; ambitions lie
Shattered, and battered; hung out to dry
With friends by my side (urging me); I'll rise again (breaking free)
Stronger, and leaner; it is just a matter of when
Fighting onwards; but, until then (my friends)
I'm, down on my luck; Down on my luck; I'm, down on my luck
Beautiful Tribute, Thanks Kelvin...............Alex
Beautiful job what can I say
but wishing all the best lovely melody
cheers NEIL !
