Title: "Damnation" a Hook original

I wrote & recorded the uke/vocal yesterday in the car, there is quite a loud car passing at the beginning. I had the morning of and added the rest at the kitchen table. All done on the 008, drums are drumjam, bass is real.
1 uke/vocal (stereo)
3 drumjam tracks (all mono)
2 bass
Damnation
written & performed by Hook
Do you think you're wise.
Do you have reason to wonder
if maybe you squander your life
I wonder that for you all the time

Casting fourth reservations
Casting fourth declarations
Casting fourth condemnation
Casting fourth damnation

Judgment often runs high
You condescend and criticize
Evaluate and stereotype

Outstanding work on instruments and vocal. Got that reggae feel.

I love the low key vocals on this, soft but assured. Very difficult to get right - awesome. This draws the listener in. Great little number - enjoyed this lots brother. I thought you'd take a bit of a break after the mammoth 26'er, hell no -  you are a song writing beast  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Damn-nation man! You`re a machine! Pretty damn cool tune for kitchen table finishing production.
Snare drum is cool near the end!

yeah i'm getting a cool reggea feel from this one too. braw tell yer maw. loving those bass runs too.

I like the reggae-ness of this Hook! The bass runs are so well done that they could become the lead instrument.  A good one!

Loved the reggae vibe but there's alot more here than that to like.

The laid back vox are ace..the instrumentation unique and magnetic...and the lyrics good...especially the last verse.

You sure crank out the songs Hook. Color me impressed. Amazed that you can get this nice a recording with your gypsy studio process. Talent shines thru it seems despite the obstacles......

A real laid back vibe here,and I love the chorus.
Your vocal sits well in this tune and there's some lovely playing there.
Tight and melodic.
Great stuff hook.
