The guitar is a Larrivée (http://www.larrivee.com/) parlour acoustic guitar which was delivered to the International Space Station in 2001.

Yes I was following this also...very cool... He should be a member here (If he isn't already)... He did an orignal collaboration with the Bare Naked Ladies in the same manner we do collabs... only he did it from space... WTF. Canadians get my vote.

According to Wikipedia, he was working on an original album up there. Here's the first song he did and, according to Wikipedia, the first song ever recorded in space. Published on 24 Dec 2012. He used the Larrivée parlour guitar, Shure mics, and Cakewalk DAW.

I bet his satellite internet connection was just a wee bit faster than ours. Or maybe it was slower considering he might be on the wrong side of the damn thing. *ponder*

Incredible. Goosebumps. Makes me wanna cry...

Should be shown to every world leader and religious leader of any persuasion before the red hot poker of reality is shoved down their squawking greedy fundamentalist throats....

Apparently this video will be taken down from YouTube today, as part of some prior agreement:

Last chance (unless, like me, you are crafty enough to download it).
