I've had this history of rock comic book for some years, and after the quizes here I remembered these two pages from that book. It contains 33 Beatles tunes. Some are quite obvious others a bit harder.
Same rules as always: Make ONE guess, and let two others guess before you try again.
have fun

It`s quantity not quality!
"Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite!" (sign in front of circus tent)
All correct.
I should come with an extra info. One of the clues are actually not a Beatles-son, but a song from one of the members, released while Beatles still were together.
BTW. Roughly translated are the talkbubbles (from top left):
"Hic, wit a bjuuutifl pictshcr
verrrry nice"
"Welcome to the Beatles, the magic wold of music"
"And now; our competition! How many songtitles can you find?"
"CUT IT OUT, FOOL"
"Finally a chance to use the intelligence"
"Another door?"
"This place is as complicated as Lennon's soul"
"
Hmm gonna do an easy one for now. I'm on my phone.

Correct, and yes that book is awsome. I'll post more details about it if anyone want to track down a copy of it.

Bump. It's been five days since the last guess.
Hey what ever happened to this game??? I guess The Beatles aren`t so popular after all

Unless you think it's foolish to get drunk, that is sadly not correct ! I made the same mistake the first time I saw it.
I also wrongly assumed that "Magical Mystery Tour" was correct ........ I still can't see why it is tho. Might just be an oversight from the writer.
Doctor Robert IS correct.
Come on ! There's still quite a few obvious ones, ... and some that's really hard to find ...... one is quite brilliant ....
I know I'm breaking the rules, but...
Macca walking over the bridge with a young lady is surely 'I Wanna Hold Your Hand' ????
And the guy asleep under the tree is 'I'm Only Sleeping' (rather than 'I'm so Tired' which is about NOT sleeping!).
Maxwells Silver Hammer - just below the church
Rules are to be broken !! ;D
All correct !!

Oddly enough, that one is not on the list .... maybe because he's not standing in the rain .. tho it was the sheepdog that was doing that .... oh well ..
QuoteChef riding the bike: 'Birthday'.
Yep !

Correct, well spotted !
I'm sure that must be Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club band in the band stand.
I'm sure you're right !!
Yellow Submarine - in the pond, right at the front, just the periscope showing -

How about 'Good Day Sunshine'?
The time on the clock on the front of the building (train station?) is "One After 909".
Yes indeed, that is impressive! I think that was the hardest one to get. It was the last one I got ::) not that that says a lot :D
Oh and yes ... Cuthbert is indeed right !
Of the remaining 10, I think I know 6 of them. But I'll wait my turn while I continue to try and figure out the other 4.
Great quiz, Geir.

There are a
lot of songs released after the breakup of The Beatles. Could you maybe limit the possibilities for us by saying, for example, "All songs in this quiz were released prior to 1975" (or whichever year you choose)? Or maybe give us the date that the picture was published so we know that the songs must have been released before that date.
Lennon. '69 and '80
Quote from: Geir on May 15, 2014, 04:44:43 PMLennon. '69 and '80
Thanks. That was a more generous clue than I was hoping for, though it's still pretty hard to figure out.
I know the one from 1969 but I'll leave that for someone else to guess.
As for the one from 1980, the people coming off the slide and subsequently going through the "Magical Mystery Door" appear to be the same people who are emerging from the top of the hill. Therefore, when you go through the "Magical Mystery Door", it's "(Just Like) Starting Over".
Actually the one from '80 is almost impossible to get. It's a pretty generic term that can be used to describe half of the worlds population.
Well now I just made it way too easy :D
Good night Chicago, wherever you are !

Is this 'Help'?
I'm not feeling very confident in this answer, but could the statue be "I Want You (She's So Heavy)"?
('cause statues are heavy) :)
"Help" is correct, "I Want You (She's So Heavy)" is a good guess, but alas not correct according to my list.
(I do think that a few of the answers on the list are a bit far fetched and that there's lots of songs that very well could have been on the list, but for this quiz I stick to the list to not make it too complicated).
Ok ... there's 8 songs left, two Lennon tunes and 6 Beatles.
Some small clues :
* One song can be hard to find without a CLOSER look (literary).
* The Lennon song from 69 should be really easy !
* Three of the tunes are really obvious,
- though one of them would never end up on a "Beatles greatest hits" !!!
* The clue for one of the missing song are on one of the small pictures 64G has put up to keep track of the game.
* The statue is (most likely¤) a clue to one of the missing songs.
¤When I say "most likely" it is because the answers are just listed up, no dirct references to what part of the picture they belong to.
hmmm....

Could be. Or it might be the rare B-side (only released in Switzerland) : 'Paul's Pink Poofmobile'.
Pic 1... is the squawking blue bird 'And Your Bird Can Sing?'.
Again, pic 1... the man shouting at the boy on the box... 'Twist and Shout'. The safari thing makes me think of 'Bungalow Bill' too.

YES !!!!
It's a typical Norwegian wood !!!!!! :D
If I've not lost track that leaves only one song I think ....... A Lennon song from '69 ... ( With another band than The Beatles )
The woman carrying the dead bird - Cold Turkey?
Bingo! And we're done. ..... I'll post the picture of the solution soon.
Congrats to all who got right answers. To the rest: Go buy the Beatles catalog . ;D
