Title: Saving recorded material.
Post by: kenny mac on June 28, 2012, 05:33:18 PM
Just yesterday I was working on a song and had multi layered string parts and other keyboards then thought I would put a guitar part down but I took out the wrong plug from the multi extension to put my amp in and wham....everything lost ,hours of recording down the drain.this is one of my quibs with the Roland vs  as it only saves what you've recorded when you are shutting it down. Needless to say I was one sick puppy after hours of playing to get it just right and they were wiped in an instant ,I will in future save after every take :'(

According to the VS-840 manual, you can save your song any time you like. Here's the procedure from the manual:

Saving the performance to disk (Song Store)
